For this recipe, we are using pure, unsweetened cranberry juice. It’s important that you use that and not the regular cranberry cocktail juice that you find at most supermarkets. There is quite a difference.
Cranberry juice, not only makes a tasty cocktail but it’s also a natural antiseptic. It’s often used as a drink to help with UTIs.
That said, the carb count of 1 8 oz glass of the stevia-sweetened cranberry cocktail is 4 grams versus a typical glass of cranberry juice cocktail at 34 grams.
Tart Cranberry Cooler – Low Carb Cocktail
- 1/4 cup pure, unsweetened cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup club soda
- 1/8 teaspoon of stevia
Stir the stevia into the cranberry juice. Add the club soda.
Makes one cup.
